Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Cheras is a national secondary school located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
History[edit | edit source]
SMK Cheras was established in 22 September 1964 as an English-medium school. Before the school building was completed in 1965, the premises were shared temporarily with SMK Jalan Cochrane. The school building was officiated by Minister of Education, Mohd Khir Johari on 27 March 1969. The first principal was Mr Lim Eng Thye.
