Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Kuo Min is a National-type Chinese Primary School in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
History[edit | edit source]
SJK (C) Kuo Min was established in 1919 by Mr Loh Kong Yew. At first there were 30 students with one classroom in two lots of shophouses. Three classrooms was later built in 1939.
In 1952, three classrooms and one teachers' dormitory was built. Six more classrooms was built in 1961.
The school became a fully-aided school in 1972.
Reconstruction of school was started in May 1993, with three-storey school building, which cost around RM60,000.00. The building was completed in 1994, officiated by Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan.
In 2001, the government allocated RM470,000.00 for the construction of two four-storey school buildings. The new school buildings was completed in 2003 and officiated by Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan, Mohd Isa Abdul Samad.
